I’m a mother of 5 little ones and I’m currently using the K12 Georgia Cyber Academy. It’s a great prog but for homeschooling more than one child w/this prog it’s very challenging. Graduates of Stride K12-powered schools feel better prepared for life after high school and experience higher levels of success at their jobs than their peers who graduated from brick-and-mortar schools. Students attend live online classes and have both online and offline assignments to complete.
Most homeschoolers are involved in activities outside the home such as sports, music, dance, and Scouts. Some homeschooling families plan educational outings and physical fitness activities with other homeschooling families. Homeschool support groups, co-ops, field-trip groups, public library programs, and park playdates all offer opportunities for kids to socialize and make friends.
